Unfortunately, it is not just a case of a Buyer walking into a business, saying I like it and a sale is done. Often weeks of work is carried out with many potential Buyers, just to get them to the business and then only the "real behind the scenes" negotiations start. The average time from a business being listed till an agreement is signed is 162 days (5.4mths).
When one takes this into account plus the advice that is provided,it would be logical to use an experienced broker.
